Patients Know Best (PKB) allows you to contact the practice team when you want to request a sick note extension or contraceptive pill check. You can register for PKB within the NHS App.

How To Register With PKB
- In the NHS App, go to ‘View your messages‘ or tap the messages icon on the toolbar
- Open ‘Consultations, events and messages‘ and agree to the statement
- Enter your email address and create a strong password
- Set up your security question and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy
- Confirm by hitting the ‘Register’ button.
How to use PKB
To Start a Consultation:
- Choose Messages in the NHS App
- Click Your Hospital and Specialist Doctors
- In PKB choose Events and Messages
- Then click Start a Consultation to send your request.
To Access Personal Health Information in PKB:
- Choose Your Health in the NHS App
- Then click Track Your Health to access your personal health information
Here you can record your own information, for example tracking long term health conditions.
You can use this to better manage your health and even share some of your information with healthcare professionals allowing you to take control of your healthcare.
